These are key questions as the nuclear industry begins to reassert itself in the power consumption debate in the US. But one fact has avoided all of us, how is nuclear waste recycled? Is recycling a must to continue to produce nuclear power? Our guest today, are Mr. Steven Curtis and Mr. Tom Dolan, leading advocates to recycling nuclear waste safely. Joins us at T3, as we discuss and review the most dynamic challenges to nuclear power which is how to recycle nuclear waste and kick start an industry that has been in the doldrum since 1977.

Today, Tomorrow’s Technologies (T3) enables our scientists, engineers and innovators to establish a daily dialogue with a non-techy listener. T3 will cover a variety of engineering, scientific and future technologies. Topics include autonomous vehicles, disruptive products, cyber technologies, smart homes/devices, unmanned aerial vehicles, smart phone, now what?, space exploration/activities, electric technologies, energy/alternate energy, tech government vs commercial, technology in high schools, future robots, and the next inventions.

Jose Negron

Mr. Jose Negron is CEO/President at AVANTI Technologies, Inc., an Annandale, Virginia, veteran-owned small business. He retired from the USAF in 2005 in the rank of Colonel after 29 years of service.

Mr. Negron has 40 years of government and commercial experiences working on major technology programs, analytical activities with budgetary consequences, and pioneered research for the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA). His program manager experiences were tested leading to major application and research successes, in 1994 he led the Sarajevo/Rwanda Humanitarian relief effort with Geneva AirOps, Switzerland, in 1999 organized the first interaction to structure how the USAF Air Expeditionary Force (AEF) was to deploy, in 2000 led the analytic/tech study for the Air War over Serbia, led the 2004 1st DARPA Grand Challenge Autonomous Vehicle event across the Mojave desert. Currently, he leads two medical revolutionary efforts: 1) Numobag for advanced wound care, and 2) NeuChroma vision glasses, and today, the visionary for the technical understanding and visualization of electronic warfare (radio frequency) and cyber digital formats with impacts on humanity.

Mr. Negron’s technical insights are often sought out to assist or lead the future planning of research efforts as the result of his past successes to plan, schedule, integrate, and execute one-of-a-kind programs or activities leaving a positive mark on our nation and globally.
