October 23, 2019
Hosted by Kathryn Zox
Kathryn interviews Executive VP of Thought Leadership, FranklinCovey Scott Miller, author of “Everyone Deserves a Great Manager: The 6 Critical Practices for Leading a Team.” If you're like the millions of people who've made the challenging but rewarding leap to first time manager, you might not be sure what your next move is. Miller delivers the guidance you expect to receive when you're promoted. He’s a 23 year associate of FranklinCovey and a leadership columnist for Inc. Magazine and Thrive Global. Kathryn also interviews Liana Gardner, award-winning author of “Speak No Evil.” There are 443,000 children living in foster care in America, and they are four times more likely to be sexually abused than children not living in foster care, according to a study by Johns Hopkins University. Gardner explores this reality and the lingering trauma of child abuse within foster care in her latest work of fiction. She’s a two-time Teen Choice Award-Winning Author for her Misfit McCabe series.
