Episode Description

We all knew one person growing up who was very sensitive or very emotional, who felt things more deeply and more passionately than most. Maybe that person was you. They were great listeners. Your pain or joy became theirs. They were willing to share the experience be it good or bad. Since anyone "different" tends to get mocked, shunned or ridiculed very often these sensitive, emotional people withdrew or tried to to to hide their gift of empathy, perception and sensitivity. This is a shame, because these are the people who make the best and most loyal friends. They are the ones who show up to help without being asked. They are the ones who will sit and comfort and encourage you. They are the ones who will stand by you when your life is unraveling. Given the division and hostility we see in the world and in our country today, we need more of these sensitive souls now more than ever. Tune in as Stephanie Red Feather defines and explains the value of an empath.

Archives Available on VoiceAmerica Empowerment Channel

Everyone has those AHA moments or events that change our lives for better or worse. These life altering events occur in every aspect of our professional, personal, and in the lives of our family. Try as we may, it is impossible to completely separate the events in our personal life from our professional life. Believe me, I tried and failed miserably. Life altering events present us with opportunities to seize the moment and make difference in our own life, the lives of our loved one, friends and business associates. They also can be a fork in the road where we can fall apart or pick up the pieces and start moving forward toward better times and better people. It is never too late to have the life you want and deserve. Let’s talk about it.
