Episode Description
Dr. Milton Friedman famously and accurately stated that no society has ever been lifted itself out of poverty except through a system of free enterprise and private property rights. And his student and devotee, our first repeat guest Dr. Jim Doti, the former highly successful President of Chapman University, continues on inspirationally with that message. Tune in and hear what reality sounds like. Reinforce your understanding of how we in our country have become prosperous and how that can continue. Incentives Matter! Adam Smith's "Invisible Hand" of economics is always present! So-called "private vice" leads to public virtue. Compare the economic success between East and West Germany, North and South Korea, Cuba and Venezuela versus the United States. And again hear how the Libertarian values of responsibility at all levels of society, a "Live and Let Live" philosophy, and equal opportunity for all will continue to help us thrive. In summary, you are in for a satisfying treat!
