March 10, 2020
Hosted by Molly Tschang
Say It Skillfully™ is a show that helps you benefit from Molly Tschang’s expert guidance on the best possible ways to speak your mind at work in a positive & productive manner. In Episode 18, Alan Mulally shared his secrets to getting hundreds of thousands of people “Working Together”, which incidentally helped his family’s success! Caroline, early in her career, was keen to push back on managers who’ve been saying, “just deal with it, roll over and apologize” when she wasn’t at fault (22:45). David asked about how to tactfully help friends who constantly talk about feeling low energy & burnout, yet don’t seem to do anything about it (35:15). Finally, Stever raised a sensitive situation of a friend asking to write a review for a book that he wasn’t comfortable being associated with (42:30). Finally, my thought of the week, learned from Alan: “Love ‘em up” (if you need ideas: http://bit.ly/39TEOER). Join the show and learn to navigate work while being invaluable and true to yourself.

Molly Tschang's Say It Skillfully™ is a show that helps you benefit from Molly's guidance on the best possible ways to speak your mind at work in a positive and productive manner. She helps everyone from CEOs to interns to recognize that we are all both part of the problem as well as the solution, and that the path to solving any problem is to say what needs to be said.
Molly is a rare breed: tough enough to advise CEOs and company boards, but empathetic enough to understand the human costs of not allowing talent to shine. She has helped dozens of management teams navigate the human after-effects of mergers and acquisitions, and her show brings her expert guidance to a wider audience.
Listen for Say It Skillfully™ every Tuesday at 8 AM Pacific Time/11 AM Eastern Time on the VoiceAmerica Business Channel.
