Episode Description

What if your life altering event did not happen directly to you? What if it happened to a loved one? An illness suddenly befalls your child; your sibling is injured in an accident; or your spouse unexpectedly has a stroke. Now what? We know the impact on them, but what is the impact on you? Your life has also been dramatically altered. Whatever your life was prior to this event is either put on hold or changed forever. You must learn a whole new life. Suddenly, without any training or preparation you become a care giver. Will you be able adjust to this new role? How will you survive? Dave Nassaney has been there. He has survived and thrived and will tell us how we as caregivers must take care of ourselves.

Tuesday at 8 AM Pacific Time on VoiceAmerica Empowerment Channel

Everyone has those AHA moments or events that change our lives for better or worse. These life altering events occur in every aspect of our professional, personal, and in the lives of our family. Try as we may, it is impossible to completely separate the events in our personal life from our professional life. Believe me, I tried and failed miserably. Life altering events present us with opportunities to seize the moment and make difference in our own life, the lives of our loved one, friends and business associates. They also can be a fork in the road where we can fall apart or pick up the pieces and start moving forward toward better times and better people. It is never too late to have the life you want and deserve. Let’s talk about it. Life Altering Events airs live every Tuesday at 8 AM Pacific Time on the VoiceAmerica Empowerment Channel.
