Episode Description

“7 Rules of Life 1) Make peace with your past so it won't screw up the present. 2) What others think of you is none of your business. 3) Time heals almost everything, give it time. 4) Don't compare your life to others and don't judge them. You have no idea what their journey is all about. 5) Stop thinking too much, it's alright not to know the answers. They will come to you when you least expect it. 6) No one is in charge of your happiness, except you. 7) Smile. You don't own all the problems in the world.” ~Unknown Do you find yourself easily getting attached to things? It is easy to have a mental and emotional fixation on something we think we want or need that will make us happy. Holding on is likely a habit and our self-identity can be associated with physical things as well as human drama. We can have an illusion we are in control. In reality we can only control ourselves. Join us as we explore the wonderful benefits possible when we take responsibility and let things go.

dLee

dLee is a passionate photographer, author, talk show host and businesswoman infusing her life with creativity and positivity. She has spent time walking the streets of her community capturing moments of life and nature through her lens. Through this creative process, she naturally began living with more presence and awareness. Growing up, dLee spent time in her father’s garden where she enjoyed the positive beats of this natural environment. She created and produced summer shows using a stage set, records with music and neighborhood kids as the actors in the stories. For these shows, she managed the players and painted the show graphics on large rolls of left over newsprint paper. She learned valuable life lessons working with these creative productions. dLee was encouraged and inspired by her artist mother and several artist neighbors to play with art mediums just for the joyful experience. Today, dLee combines her love for writing and photography, as her lily pad, to create beautiful wall art, gifts and photo books offered at her website, Photodlights.com. Her latest creative project is Integrating Rounds, an inspirational focused photo and word art collection.
