Kathryn interviews Susie Orman Schnall, author of “We Came Here to Shine.” Gorgeous Vivi is the star of the Aquacade synchronized swimming spectacular and plucky Max is a journalist for the fair's daily paper. Both are striving to make their way in a world where men try to control their actions and where secrets are closely kept. Their story is one of ambition, friendship and persistence. Schnall’s writing has appeared in the NY Times, HuffPost, POPSUGAR, Writer’s Digest and Glamour. Kathryn also interviews Public Affairs Specialist, U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission Nikki Fleming. Social distancing guidelines have paused group swimming lessons and curious children may be searching for new things to do at home. Coupled with adults who may be distracted by competing priorities, continued vigilance to water safety remains as important as ever. Fleming specializes in children’s product safety and is the team lead for the Pool Safely drowning prevention education campaign.

She has been producing and hosting The Kathryn Zox Show Lunchtime Talk in Albany, NY for over five years and is excited about bringing her show from the capital of NY State to the Nation's Capital. She has also recently been a co-host and featured life expert on Doug Stephan's syndicated Good Day Show. Kathryn's interviewed thousands of guests including lifestyle experts, celebrities, authors, lawyers, psychiatrists, physicians and dieticians. At Albany Medical College she has trained doctors and medical students to communicate effectively with their patients. She's an actor who can be seen on the Sopranos and Law and Order and even admits to modeling for AARP! She has Masters' Degrees in Social Work and Counseling Psychology and is a graduate of the New School of Radio and Television. Much background for her show comes from traveling the world and raising three boys now in their twenties - a rock star, an actor and a film maker. There's also one ex-husband, one boyfriend, two brothers and an aging mom!
