August 3, 2020
Hosted by akaRadioRed
Producer/host akaRadioRed’s Cool Conversations with Creatives welcomes two triumphant creatives. At 23, Ellie from the Deli Peterson was divorced and raising three children on $80 a week. Her body was unhealthy, her mind chaotic, her spirit full of fear, self-pity, anger, worthlessness. To heal herself, Ellie created the Meditative Movements™ technique, which reduces anxiety, depression, and fatigue, and improves emotional and functional well-being for chronic health issues. meditativemovements.com. CJ “The Badass Grandma” Scarlet wrote Badass Parenting: An Irreverent Guide to Raising Safe, Savvy, Confident Kids and PG-rated Heroic Parenting to help parents transform their kids into little badasses who can protect and defend themselves from dangerous people. A former roller-skating carhop, forest firefighter, and U.S. Marine photojournalist, CJ is one of the “Happy 100” people on the planet. www.cjscarlet.com Join akaRadioRed for The Creativity Brick Road: From Mad to Glad!

akaRadioRed is an accidental radio and TV creator, producer and host who began her media career in the late 1990s (she will reveal the year in exchange for good dark chocolate). Despite growing up shy (hard to believe) on Long Island, New York, she eventually found her “voice” through a range of expressive outlets: graphic designer, entertainment reporter and photographer, bachelor auction MC, newspaper reporter, author interviewer, standup comic, romantic comedy playwright, watercolor and mixed media artist, marketing writer and editor, and most recently, rock ‘n’ roll and blues ChickDrummer with sassy red boots to match her hair. By day, under a different name, she is the producer and host of 50 enterprise technology thought leadership roundtable series at VoiceAmerica Business since 2011. akaRadioRed is excited to bring Read My Lips Radio: Cool Conversations with Creatives to the VoiceAmerica Variety Channel.
