In this episode Zach is joined by clinical psychologist, an addictions treatment specialist Dr. Aaron Weiner. Dr. Weiner speaks nationally on the topic of addiction and will be talking with Zach about how quickly using medically prescribed opioids for pain management can turn into an addiction. Following Dr. Weiner, Zach is joined by Amanda Villaveces, a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in Louisville, KY. Zach and Amanda touch on the relationship between mental health and substance use, and some of the different ways addiction is experienced by men and women.

Zachary Crouch

Zachary Crouch is the National Business Development Manager and former administrator for Landmark Recovery, a Louisville based residential program for drug and alcohol treatment. His background in the treatment field as a counselor includes work with the adolescent, adult and family population. Additionally, he also operated the acute medical detoxification unit for Norton Audubon Hospital in Louisville. Zachary graduated with a Bachelors in Psychology and earned his Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy in 2009.
