In this episode Zach is joined by Lieutenant Commander Bill Reynolds, a 30-year Navy veteran and trained physician assistant. Bill and Zach discuss what opioid addiction looks like in the military and veteran communities, and how to best build a treatment plan that addresses their unique challenges. Following Bill, Zach is joined by Dr. Kevin Chapman, the founder and director of the Kentucky Center for Anxiety and Related Disorders (KYCARDS). Zach and Dr. Chapman discuss the power of emotions in an individual's recovery journey, and the how emotional regulation can be difficult both during and after treatment.

Zachary Crouch

Zachary Crouch

Zachary Crouch is the National Business Development Manager and former administrator for Landmark Recovery, a Louisville based residential program for drug and alcohol treatment. His background in the treatment field as a counselor includes work with the adolescent, adult and family population. Additionally, he also operated the acute medical detoxification unit for Norton Audubon Hospital in Louisville. Zachary graduated with a Bachelors in Psychology and earned his Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy in 2009.
