Read My Lips: Let’s Drink to Creativity!
August 24, 2020
Hosted by akaRadioRed
Producer/host akaRadioRed’s Cool Conversations with Creatives welcomes two well-read creatives. While doing research for her memoir, "The Other Madisons: The Lost History of A President's Black Family", retired pediatrician Bettye Kearse discovered the creative roles food and wine played when President James Madison and Dolley entertained at the White House. Tune in to find out if a famous ice cream brand was named after this first lady. www.BettyeKearse.com Red welcomes back Susan Corso, an ordained minister and spiritual counselor who applies her experiences working on Broadway to the plots, colorful characters and detailed sites of her novels. In The Mex Mysteries series, a high femme intuitive investigator solves shady mysteries involving Broadway by sleuthing the show lyrics for answers. And under the pseudonym Vivienne Hartt Quinn, Susan writes the Butch-Femme romance series, Boots & Boas. susancorso.com Join akaRadioRed for Read My Lips: Let’s Drink to Creativity!

akaRadioRed is an accidental radio and TV creator, producer and host who began her media career in the late 1990s (she will reveal the year in exchange for good dark chocolate). Despite growing up shy (hard to believe) on Long Island, New York, she eventually found her “voice” through a range of expressive outlets: graphic designer, entertainment reporter and photographer, bachelor auction MC, newspaper reporter, author interviewer, standup comic, romantic comedy playwright, watercolor and mixed media artist, marketing writer and editor, and most recently, rock ‘n’ roll and blues ChickDrummer with sassy red boots to match her hair. By day, under a different name, she is the producer and host of 50 enterprise technology thought leadership roundtable series at VoiceAmerica Business since 2011. akaRadioRed is excited to bring Read My Lips Radio: Cool Conversations with Creatives to the VoiceAmerica Empowerment Channel.
