Phyllis Ayman, host of Seniors Straight Talk is an expert speech/language pathologist, certified dementia practitioner, trainer, and best-selling author who has been dedicated to improved quality of life and quality of care for residents in the over 45 skilled nursing facilities in which she’s worked. She’s known for her communication skills, empathy, unwavering high standards, and believes strongly that treatment of older adults is a direct reflection of our attitudes and how we view people in the elder years of our lives. She is passionate about meeting the needs of our culturally diverse senior population and understands the root causes faced by nursing home residents. Phyllis empowers families to become more effective advocates for their loved ones care by providing valuable information from her years of working in these facilities. Phyllis is a featured speaker and an accomplished trainer for both the public and private sector and has published several articles in major national professional online platforms. She incorporates innovative approaches to the communication, leadership and team building workshops that she’s successfully transitioned to the business sector and holds a trademark for the word “IMpathy” (tm).

Phyllis serves as a board member of the Massachusetts Advocates for Nursing Home Reform, is an advisory board member to Olive Community Services based in Los Angeles, California and is a member of the COVID19 National Healh Care Coalition.

Rubina Chaudhary’s passion for elder care stems from her personal experience as an only child living more than 1,000 miles away from her aging parents, both of whom are now 91 years of age. This experience led to the founding of OLIVE Community services, www.olivecs.org, a 501(c) 3 nonprofit organization providing culturally appropriate supportive services to seniors, their families and the community. Rubina is an entrepreneur providing engineering management consulting services for infranstructure projects through her company MARRS, www.MARRScorp.com.
