In this episode Zach is joined by Edward Pinnow, a licensed independent substance abuse counselor for Terros Health in Phoenix, and leader of the Maverick House residential treatment center and maverick Living Sober Living. Edward and Zach talk through Zach's experiences working in addition recovery and the ways he's seen addiction affect different people. Following his discussion with Edward, Zach in joined by Sonia Osman, a Business Liaison with the Kentucky Chamber of Commerce Workforce Center. Zach and Sonia discuss her work and personal passion to educate and bring awareness to business leaders and organizations on how to combat the opioid crisis. They touch on the ways employers can help their employees struggling with addiction, how to break the stigma of being in recovery in the workforce.

Zachary Crouch

Zachary Crouch is the National Business Development Manager and former administrator for Landmark Recovery, a Louisville based residential program for drug and alcohol treatment. His background in the treatment field as a counselor includes work with the adolescent, adult and family population. Additionally, he also operated the acute medical detoxification unit for Norton Audubon Hospital in Louisville. Zachary graduated with a Bachelors in Psychology and earned his Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy in 2009.
