Hosted by Christi Anne Bela
When it comes to your relationship status, you can say you are Monogamous or pick from the many terms which can fall under the umbrella of Non-Monogamy. Whether you call it Polyamory, Ethical Non-Monogamy, Open Relationship or Many Loves, it is the "Choose Your Own Adventure" of dating. Even through it is not new in society, figuring out how to make it work for you can feel like a new discovery. I know over the last 20 years, exploring a variety of relationship dynamics I've learned a lot the hard way. Our guest Kate Loree is a sex positive licensed marriage and family therapist with a specialty in non-monogamous, kink, LGBTQ and sex worker communities. She knows first hand the hurdles, massive emotional growth, and amazing joy these worlds can provide. Kate is going to talk with us about how to put your ego in your back pocket and lead with compassion for self and others. Compassion is even more key than communication when it comes to any type of relationship.
