Join us on Habits for Happiness on the VoiceAmerica Network this Friday at 8am pst/11am est. We welcome Chris Klug, His snowboarding accomplishments include: three-time Winter Games participant, he also is Bronze Medalist in Salt Lake City in 2002, and became the first organ transplant recipient in history to win an Olympic medal, he is an eleven-time US National Champion, twenty-year veteran of the Snowboard World Cup, and five-time World Cup Champion... In 1993, Chris was diagnosed with primary sclerosing cholangitis (PSC), a rare degenerative bile duct condition that affects the liver. The only known cure is a liver transplant. Chris remained on the transplant waitlist for six years, the last three months of which were spent in a critical state. During this fragile time, Chris vowed that, if he made it through, he would do everything he could to make a difference for the thousands of individuals who, like him, were waiting for a second chance at life. Chris finally received his lifesaving liver transplant on July 28, 2000. Only 18 months after his transplant, Chris took home a bronze medal in the 2002 Winter Olympics in Salt Lake City. The following year, he founded the Chris Klug Foundation to help save lives and promote a healthy, active lifestyle post-transplant. Founded in October 2003, the Chris Klug Foundation is dedicated to promoting lifesaving organ and tissue donation and improving the quality of life for those touched by organ donation. Chris is also one of the top real estate brokers right here in Aspen, Colorado where he lives with his wife Missy, two children River and Bali, and their dog Mochi. Join Chris and Host & Habit Coach, Lady Fuller, as they discuss MINDSET ... A KEYSTONE habit. Why Mindset? Because as Chris will discuss, Mindset is upstream of all additional healthy habits. In short, nothing good will stick without it. You don't want to miss this awesome episode! so tune in and learn how it can start with you.

Habits for Happiness

Habits for Happiness

Friday at 8 AM Pacific Time on VoiceAmerica Empowerment Channel

I strongly believe that the path to Happiness is paved with Healthy Habits, and that we are always “In Choice” and have agency over our wellbeing and happiness. This idea is contrary to what most of us are taught. Most of us grow up believeing that the shiny object is out there in the external world and thus, we spend our whole lives reaching for it. The irony is that all along what we are searching for is right there inside of us. In short, we are homesick for ourselves.

How do we access that place inside? Through Habit Change. I want to offer you free, easy, and simple steps to take control of your life, mood and well-being during this immense time of transition. Habits for Happiness is broadcast live every Friday at 8 AM Pacific Time on the VoiceAmerica Empowerment Channel.
