It's not hard to find abuses of federal power. What is more frustrating than finding those abuses is the realization of the uphill battle to get the elected officials to do their jobs in oversight. What has been overlooked in this time federal overreach has been the power of the States.The States created and gave the power to the federal government, reserving rights not specifically granted to the feds.The States are the last line of defense during a time of power grabs and Constitutional shredding. This weeks show will focus on what States can do to curb federal overreach, protect your rights, and what you can do to be sure your state in maximizing its 9 & 10th Amendment duties.

Darren has held political appointment at county the level and currently holds appointment at the state level in Texas. A former candidate for Texas Senate, Darren brings direct experience to policy observations on legislative affairs and how they impact your liberty and your pocketbook.
Darren also brings his unique sense of wit and humor to the show to make you laugh as well as think.
Darren has experience from over 28 years in the insurance, real estate and financial services industry, helping manage client risks in all lines of insurance including Property and Casualty and Group Benefits. His insurance career began operating a franchise for a national carrier in 1994 with zero clients. It was quickly grown into one of the top performing agencies in Texas. In 1998, the operation expanded in commercial insurance. In 2014, Darren and his wife sold off their retail operations to pursue technology development and manufacturing in areas the supported law enforcement and renewable energy technologies. To pay the bills during this time, Darren also provided Business Consulting for start-up, turn-around, as well as static operations.
In 2018, Darren joined a large national broker for the sale of insurance products. In September of 2020, Darren accepted a principal role in a Managing General Agency with an exclusive program for the garage sector that he will expand to include towing and trucking risks in 2021.
Darren was a candidate for the Texas Senate in 2010. His dedication has been on the political radar ever since. He served as a Commissioner, Secretary/Treasurer/ Risk Manager for the Johnson County Emergency Services District for close to 5 years. Darren was appointed to the Board of Directors of the Brazos River Authority by Texas Governor Greg Abbott in October 2019. Darren holds a BBA from University of Texas, Arlington.
