As reported by the New York Times, “Only 9 percent of apps are created by women; 10 percent of innovative start-ups were founded by women.” Anna Anisin has been working in the tech space for over 12 years and successfully built her own company Formulated.by 6 years ago, where she focuses on building communities and memorable experiences for data science communities. She's the founder of the Data Science Salon, which is among the most diverse conferences in the data space as well as DSS elevate, an initiative designed to close the gender gap in tech. This week, Chris sits down with Anna and discusses her experience and insights as a female entrepreneur in the tech industry and how she helps other female-owned business owners in the industry become more successful.
