Awakening. This is how I would describe mid life for so many women. One day you wake up and realize...your job is not what you want to spend the second half of your life doing. It's almost as if a fog has been lifted and you wake up one day and say, "I'm f*@cking over this." We work, raise kids, and there comes a moment where so many of us feel like we've hit a brick wall. Jeanne Rooney is on a mission to support women through career burnout. She found herself at a cross roads in her career and life and is now working with career women to create purpose, connection and get back in touch with themselves after trudging through raising kids and building careers. Jeanne's story is relatable. Living in the mid-west, raising three beautiful boys, her husband was a school principal, and over the course of the pandemic everything changed. Jeanne left her job and started a business, at the same time her husband reassessed his desire and ability to stay in an impossible job, and they were sending their oldest to college. In the middle of their lives they had to figure out how to start all over again. This episode is for every women who is at a cross roads in her career and life.
