Episode Description

This week I am joined by Stacy Kestin & Dan Yadegar. Stacy Kestin is a lifelong entrepreneur who, among other things, has worked as a life coach for the last 30 years. In life and in business she follows an authentic, compassionate, action-oriented approach. This is based on the philosophy that to achieve greatness each person needs to come from their highest self, acting with intentions that flow from love, not fear. Stacy has founded several wellness and health-related businesses over the years. This includes a medical wellness center that focuses on optimal health, as well as a life science fund that aims to reshape the future of medicine through investments in innovative and disruptive breakthroughs. Wellbel Inc. was born out of this partnership and a desire to meet a need and has evolved from a product into a beautiful movement of confidence. Stacy’s current endeavor is to create a better world through building authentic relationships, genuine community, and truly caring and nurturing the well-being of that community. It allows Stacy to draw upon and utilize all her most powerful gifts. Stacy believes that by building a foundation from within, of calm and confidence, you create space, and by creating space you create opportunities where anything can happen: including complete wellness. The spirit and energy of the Wellbel team are built on these principles. Dr. Daniel Yadegar is board certified in both Internal Medicine and Cardiovascular Disease and has had advanced fellowship training in age management and integrative medicine. Dr. Yadegar received his undergraduate degree with Honors from Harvard University and his M.D. from Weill Cornell Medical College. His clinical focus is on preventive and personalized medicine--leveraging his knowledge of what is most current and disruptive to enable his patients to attain optimal health. A thought leader in the healthcare space, Dr. Yadegar has been written about in the New York Times and shared his expertise on major news networks. He is currently a Clinical Instructor in Medicine at Weill Cornell Medical College in NYC, the founding member of the Weill Cornell Brain Health Center, and the Medical Director of HIH, an executive wellness center that uses and showcases leading-edge technologies in Palm Beach, Florida. His approach merges science and soul. Through his understanding of leading-edge advancements, Dr. Yadegar enables his patients to achieve optimal health through synergy of the mind, body & spirit

Jodi Harrison Bauer

Jodi Harrison Bauer is a two-time World Bikini Champion, founder and owner of JodiFit boutique fitness studio, host of Fearlessly Authentic podcast and the oldest woman to ever compete for the iconic Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue, making global headlines and the Top 60 finalists in 2019.

Growing up, Jodi was a people pleaser and scared of everything. She graduated with a BA from Simmons College in 1983. Jodi’s life changed forever when, at 42 years old, she built the courage to take control of her own happiness. Since then, Jodi has worked relentlessly to better herself, build her business, nurture her relationships and create the life she knew she always deserved, one with passion and purpose.

In doing so, she hasn’t followed the rules or fit in the box society wanted to put her in. She started competing in fitness shows when she was “too old,” opened a business at 50 and got re-married eight years later. She competed against women more than half her age for a spot in Sports Illustrated Swim to prove age and beauty are not directly correlated.

Today she defines herself as an ageless warrior and an advocate against ageism. In her studio, on her podcast and across her social channels, Jodi focuses on empowering women.

Jodi is the proud mother of two grown daughters and a rescue pup. Outside of JodiFit, you can find her on the beach or dancing like no one’s watching. She lives by the words “Never let fear stop you from being YOU."
