This can be due to the hormonal changes that accompany peri-menopause like night sweats and also the anxiety and stress so common at midlife that keep you up at night. Sleep deprivation can erode your wellbeing and contribute to health problems including weight gain, mood changes, accidents, high blood pressure, and weakened immunity. On today’s show we’re going to share tips and techniques to help you get the recommended 7 to 9 hours of sleep. Plus, we’ll be discussing ways to be kind to your mind and talking about a new alternative therapy technique called Havening used to reduce anxiety and distress.
