Episode Description

Welcome to Zero-In, Presented by Deloitte, Canada Host Bonnie D. Graham speaks with two Deloitte specialists about the Circular Economy, which addresses how we manage our precious resources, how we make and use products, and what we do with the materials afterward we use them. How do we attain a true Circular Economy? We develop closed-loop systems using product design, re-use strategies and recycling that are foundational to creating the ideal circular state. These systems retain and recover as much value as possible from resources by reusing, repairing, refurbishing, remanufacturing, repurposing, and/or recycling products and materials. An important byproduct: The circular economy also enhances and bolsters opportunities to capitalize on secondary markets for products from various, different industries. Welcome to Deloitte's Eamonn McGuinty and Swarnima Chohan.
