Episode Description

As organizations worldwide begin to recognize the severity of the climate challenges we are facing, the focus on and how we address them are top of mind. Organizational culture, people, and ways of working will inevitably need to change. The business of today needs to transform to focus on the needs of the future, but how does this transformation occur? Businesses will be required to develop strategies and goals to limit their environmental footprint. It is common to hear about decarbonization, sustainable reporting, and the other climate approaches organizations are now deploying – but how does an organization change to implement these new initiatives? Host Bonnie D. Graham speaks with Deloitte's Colton Chacalias, Change Lead of Deloitte Canada's Sustainability Office, and Marie Joachin, a Manager in Deloitte's Human Capital Consulting Practice in Toronto, on Transforming Organizations to Meet Climate Challenges.
