Shawanna Johnson is a woman on the move. As the high school valedictorian she sky rocketed to Harvard University, graduating cum laude in 2001 with a Bachelors in Economics. After Harvard, Shawanna went to work on Wall Street for JPMorgan Chase as an Investment Banking Analyst. She also worked in finance for Bank of New York, Consolidated Resorts, Bally Gaming, and Sunterra Corporation. After 4 years in finance, she went to law school and she began her legal career at a mid-size Washington DC/New York firm. Shawanna moved home to Las Vegas in 2012, working for two major national law firms with a focus on litigation, and after briefly working for a local government agency, she launched her own business. On today's episode of Real Money you'll hear about Shawanna's journey, and you're going to hear all of the things it took for a young woman in North Las Vegas to move from Vegas to Wall Street, and back again.
