Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT), also known as tapping, is an innovative complementary technique most closely analogous to ancient Chinese meridian healing systems—except that it's designed to aid in the relief of both physical pain AND deep emotional trauma. Even though it hasn't been fully researched by the Western academic, medical, or psychological communities, it appears to have many promising benefits, and there's an impressive amount of anecdotal evidence from thousands of people, including children, who've experienced relief using this method.
