Episode Description

This will be the second consecutive year that VoiceAmerica hosted a live event from PNE. VoiceAmerica is one of three companies that the Player Networking Event has chosen to feature. In attendance will be World Talk Radio President Jeff Spenard, VP of Broadcast Operations Ryan Treasure, VoiceAmerica Sports Channel Director and former Philadelphia Eagle Ray Ellis; along with our featured VoiceAmerica Sports Hosts including: current Chicago Bear Dez Clark (host of Sportsmanlike Conduct), former Baltimore Raven Nick Murphy (host of Murphy’s Law), former Arizona Cardinal Kwamie Lassiter (host of Kwamie Lassiter’s Sports Talk), and former Chicago Bears and Super Bowl Champion Dave Duerson (host of Double Time with Double D). The Player Networking Event (PNE), a sanctioned NFL Super Bowl event, helps active and former NFL players with their transition from football to their business careers. Each year active and former players attend the PNE to network with business executives and corporations. Working collaboratively with the NFL and its member clubs, their goal is to help players explore and identify post-football opportunities that are realistic and meaningful.

The goal of this show is to bring you into the locker room. Being a current player I have the ability to do that. When my playing days are over I will continue to leverage my relationships to bring you inside the locker room. We will speak on prevalent sports stories of the week no matter the sport. My co-hosts are just fans, not journalists or anything of that nature, although we ill have sports journalists join the show from time to time. They are instructed to share their true feelings about whatever subject matter from a fans point of view (tell it like it is). This will be in contrast to my point of view from the locker room or speaking from an athlete’s point of view. Sportsmanlike Conduct is a fresh entertaining show that focuses on the NFL and NCAA football. Baseball, basketball, golf and any other sports related stories will also be debated and discussed.

Desmond Clark is a 2008 graduate of Wake Forest with a degree in Communications I’ve been Married for 12 years to wife Denise. I have six year old twin girls, Ashanna and Gianna and stepdaughter Brittany In the last two years I have co hosted both TV and radio sports talk shows in Chicago, one on ABC, the other with ESPN. During my 10 year NFL playing career I can say that I have become an expert on playing football. I will use this knowledge to bring fans inside of the game. My co-hosts will bring an element to the show that many shows don’t have and that’s the fan component. They are everyday fans and will be the fans’ voice of Sportmanlike Conduct

I am associated with many players, coaches, NFL personnel and media personalities around the league and will look to leverage these relationships to bring the show a quality of authenticity.
