Episode Description

Webster’s dictionary defines a hero as a man or woman of distinguished courage or ability, admired for his brave deeds and noble qualities. Our mental picture of a hero has significantly changed in the past 50 years. While Civil Rights Leaders and professionals used to be the eye candy of every youth, it has now been replaced by athletes and entertainers. Today’s youth have determined that the glitz and glam is more important than having a lasting education, skill, and community presence. There are those in the community who have made it their life mission to help remold and uplift the minds of our next generation through their selfless actions within their communities. No matter what challenge has presented themselves they have prevailed and turned their and those around them lemons into lemonades. Our guest Tyrone Keys has been shaping the lives of challenged Tampa Teens since 1993, through his organization All Sports Community Service. While he is no longer making record breaking plays on the field, he is saving the lives of the children in his community and country by showing them the benefits of higher education. That by definition is a hero.

“Success Ends Where Satisfaction Begins, So NEVER BE SATISFIED!”

The show will focus upon the NFL and the game, but will dig deeper into what happens in the locker room, in the mind of the player, when they are away from the field, and after the game ends…what’s next? This will not be football 101!

We’ll do in-depth interviews with current players and past greats, and “where are they now” segments, focus upon discussions on “the hot topics” within “the game” at the moment, and we’ll take your live questions. We will not shy away from the tough questions!

We’ll also focus upon positive messages to kids and parents to never be satisfied!
