Episode Description

When most fans are asked what they don't like about their favorite athlete, most will say that "Athletes have an uncanning sense of entitlement. That athletes seem to think that they are entitled to the lawless and enterprising side of The Law. That when they break The Law, that they are allowed to get away with it because they're an athlete." This week the Rookie Symposium is taking place in Carlsbad, CA. Each year The NFL holds a symposium to introduce Life Skills, and to deter The Rookies from making poor choices. The desire is that they not turn into Ben Roethlisberger, Vince Young, or Michael Vick. As with all walks of Life, though, some won't heed the message! This pervasive attitude even hits the ranks of U.S. Military Generals. Join in with us as we close out this topic, and discuss The World Cup and the stresses associated with The Dog Days Of Training Camp for both The Athlete and his family.

“Success Ends Where Satisfaction Begins, So NEVER BE SATISFIED!”

The show will focus upon the NFL and the game, but will dig deeper into what happens in the locker room, in the mind of the player, when they are away from the field, and after the game ends…what’s next? This will not be football 101!

We’ll do in-depth interviews with current players and past greats, and “where are they now” segments, focus upon discussions on “the hot topics” within “the game” at the moment, and we’ll take your live questions. We will not shy away from the tough questions!

We’ll also focus upon positive messages to kids and parents to never be satisfied!
