Episode Description
It's summer in the City -- perfect weather for lounging at the beach with something great to read. Crime Prevention Specialist Susan Bartelstone is finally going on a LONG vacation but still doesn't know what books to take with her. So she's invited some of her favorite authors to come on the show, and maybe they can help us all put our beach reading list together. First up, we've got former prosecutor and TV crime analyst Robin Sax talking about the Joran van der Sloot case and THE COMPLETE IDIOT'S GUIDE TO THE CRIMINAL JUSTICE SYSTEM. Then, journalist Candace Dempsey gives us a front row seat at the lurid Amanda Knox trial in MURDER IN ITALY. Next, the devilish Burl Barer discusses THE SAINT; and Caitlin Rother speaks about her NAKED ADDICTION. If it's hot outside, take a refreshing dip in the literary pool with Crime Prevention 101 tonight. Have a great summer; catch up on past shows via iTunes; and we'll see you in the Fall.
