Ida welcomes newest members of a new moms oreganization, P.A.C.E... The name stands for Pro Athletes, Celebrity And Entertainers Mothers Organization. PACE kicked off thier inagural conference on July 22 to 24, at the Miami Doreal Resorts in Miami Florida with 25 moms in attendance. Karen Johnson is the President (Mother of Andre Johnson - Houston Texans); Gloria Thompson - Vice President (Mother of Former Green BayPacker, Torrence Marshall) and Treasurer is Mary Kay Racker (Mother of Neal Racker - Arizonia Cardinals and Houstan Texans). Mary Kay brings 33 years of tax consultant experience to the organization and Karen Johnson and Gloria Thompson bring countless years of organizational; experience after running their individual sons Foundations and Philanthrophy activities. The PACE vision is clear "to establish, implement and create charitable events to invest in programs committed to improve Health, Welfare, Education and Fitrness of our natiuon's children, Newest member Bridgett Sharptton, mother of Darryl Sharpton of Houstan Texans say, " Proud to be a member as a rookie mom with such dedicated women. She hopes to contribute as a member to make PACE and outstanding organization, and to use the in-house resources to help her develoip her sons passion a "Literacy Program."
