Michael Husted was a kicker in the NFL for nine years. He was a member of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers (1993-1998), Oakland Raiders (1999), Washington Redskins (2000) and Kansas City Chiefs (2002). Husted holds the record for the longest NFL field goal made in the L.A. Coliseum with his 57 yard kick in 1993. His last season was 2002 where his last FG attempt ever was a 38 yard game winner... Husted Co-Founded iPlayers.net, an online interactive video recruiting tool for student-athletes which was acquired by the Active Network in 2007. He was GM for the site after the acquisition until recently when he decided to begin another entrepreneurial venture. He is currently President and Founder of The National Combine Series, Inc. Through its nationwide network, NCS operates events nation wide for kickers, punters and long snappers to help teach, evaluate and prepare them for the next level. Recently, Michael is involved in a new start up, Mental Fitness, Inc. This venture is geared towards sport psychology and helping all athletes at all levels mentally train through innovative mp3 audio files that can be downloaded to computers, ipods, and any portable device capable of holding and playing mp3 files. He currently resides in Solana Beach, CA with his wife Cass, his two daughters Zoe (11) and Vivi (8).

Tony has a very diverse background. He has played in the NFL for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in the NFL for four years, sat on the National Football League Players Association (NFLPA) and the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society board of directors, won grants, started several successful businesses, owns 8 U.S. and international patents, been a FBS college football coach and founded the BAMfam Group, which is a part of the first ever social commerce company. He has also been an owner/operator in the convenience store industry and managed a $30+ million business unit for Circle K, the second largest convenience store operator in North America.

Tony has an extensive background in education. He has a Bachelor’s degree in Media Arts from the University of Arizona (1994), a Masters of Arts in Literacy and Education from the University of Arizona (1997), a Masters of Business Administration from the W.P. Carey School of Business at Arizona State University (2005) and a Masters of Science from the University of Akron (2011).

Tony has served on the University of Arizona National Alumni Board of Directors and is the past Vice President of the University of Arizona Maricopa County Black Alumni Association.

Tony is politically active in the Arizona politics. He ran for state office in 2008 and 2010.

He was also inducted into the University of Arizona Sports Hall of Fame in 2000. Tony is a cancer survivor with a wife and four young children.
