Remembering the Fallen - "Preserve and Honor" - Internet Privacy - Week in Review
May 19, 2011
Hosted by Squire Patton Boggs
Join us this week on Capital Thinking with host Kevin O'Neill as we prepare for Memorial Day and honoring those who made the ultimate sacrifice for our country. Our first special guest, Congressman Rob Wittman (R/VA-1), will discuss his leadership in addressing the problems at the historic Arlington National Cemetery. Next, we will hear from high school junior Ricky Gilleland, who founded preserveandhonor.com, a place to celebrate the lives of the nation’s fallen heroes buried at Arlington, and his plans for expanding this project nationwide. Then, Deborah Lodge will join us to discuss Internet privacy, including, among other issues, online protection for the most vulnerable Internet users--teenagers. Finally, it has been an eventful week in Washington, particularly in terms of the Republican candidate pool for the presidential election. Kevin will look back at this week's highlights.
