Ida Muorie will visit with three NFL Super Stars that will talked about their lives off the field, and about the charitable activities that are making a difference in their communities. Ida's special guest are Isaac Byrd that mastered both Baseball and Football in high school. college and the pros, and now takes on another challenge as an Author and a Motivation Speaker. "My new book " How To Think Like a Pro, Act Like a Pro & Play Like a Pro, outlines 8 principles that bridge that gap between professional & Amateur Athletes," says Isaac Byrd.. Isaac is also the facilitator of Motivation Seminars, and is the Owner of Elite Mental Training. Another Guest is Chris Canty of the New York Giants and The Chris Canty Foundation, that is sponsoring The Chris Canty Camp of Champions June 15-17, for boys ages 8-16, and a Champions Gala on June 17 to benefit the Foundations activities. Last but not least is Max Starks of the Pittsburgh Steelers and the Max Starks Charitable Fund. Max is the sponsor of 2nd Annual Max Starks Celebrity Golf Tournament on June 17th and Reception of Champions; and also holding the 5th Annual Max Starks Youth Football Camp on June 18th, where all proceeds benefit Max's quest to build a Literacy Center in Orlando, Florida. Max also sponsors the Max Starks "Hometown" Thanksgiving Turkey Giveaways, where Max gives 200 Turkey Dinner to needy Pittsburgh families, and partners with UPMC Rehabilitation for the Annual Gridiron Computer Gaming with patients in recovery. Sports Philanthropy is not new, and many people do not recognized that athletes donate more than 200 million dollars a year to their favorite charity. Tonight we recognized three Sportsmavericks and Icons of Charity.
