Our show looks at the week’s current headlines and stories that encompass the world of college and professional football. We give an old school, in your face locker room opinion on each topic. We take an in depth look at the trench play from one of the NFL’s top linemen, Super Bowl Champion Derek Kennard and a skill position play overview from The Coach, Original Cleveland Dawg Pound Strong Safety Al “Bubba” Gross.

The show is fast paced, funny and our guests come from all levels of football to share their football experiences. Our hosts extract the exclusive personal stories from the game of football that can only come “From Under the Helmet.”

Derek Kennard

Derek Kennard is from Stockton, California where at Edison High School he was a Blue Chip offensive and defensive lineman. Derek went on to play college football at the University of Nevada at Reno where he was selected in the second round of the supplemental draft by the St. Louis Cardinals. Derek went on to play both guard and center for 11 seasons in the National Football League for the St. Louis and later Phoenix Cardinals, New Orleans Saints, and the 1995 World Champion Dallas Cowboys. Kennard played in the Super Bowl played along side such greats as Emmet Smith, Troy Aikmen, Nate Newton and Michael Irvin while earning a World Championship ring in the 1995 season. Derek is married to his high school sweetheart Denise, has two sons, Derek Kennard Jr. and youngest son Devon Kennard, as well as a daughter, Denisha Kennard . he also has a Granddaughter, SaRae & grandson, Derek III “Tre.”
