Exploring Special Education Issues - How to become Successful Professionally and Personally
June 23, 2011
Hosted by Squire Patton Boggs
Join us this week on Capital Thinking with host Kevin O'Neill as we explore the field of special education from two different perspectives. First, we will be joined by education lawyer Brian Subers, who will discuss special education from a legal standpoint. Then, Jill Sandoval, a special education teacher and someone who has personally dealt with a learning disability, will provide insight as an educator. Next, we will focus the second half of the show on professional development. We will start off by speaking with career coach Cordell Parvin, to learn the steps for achieving both personal and professional success. Building on Cordell's advice will be returning guest Cynthia Pladziewicz, a lawyer and clinical psychologist who will explain further how to effectively leverage professional strengths in personal relationships.
