Hear what our KIDS FIRST! Film Critics have to say about 2 new and 2 classic films in this week's show and what age kids they think will like them best. This episode features Raven Devanney (age 14) and Gabriella Chu (age14) as hosts. They share their enthusiasm for two new movies that just opened, The Smurfs and Cowboys and Aliens. Joining them in discussing these two films are Makai Weber Colvin (age 10) and Sam Connon who are also KIDS FIRST! Film Critic. In the latter part of the show, Raven and Gabriella discuss two classic films, Babe and Fly Away Home which are airing on HDNet Movies Kidscene in August and, of course, are available elsewhere in DVD format.

Film Critics are a nationwide team of 60 plus youth entertainment reporters, ages 8 to 21, who attend press screenings, press junkets, premieres and red carpets and other media events. They give you the latest news about media for kids, by kids. Before your spend your hard earned money at the movies, listen to what we have to say.

KIDS FIRST! Film Critics is a project of the Coalition for Quality Children's Media, a national, nonprofit (501-c-3) organization founded in 1991 whose mission is to teach kids to critically select media that’s suitable, enjoyable and fun.
