God 1st, Jesus is Lord of my life.

I was born in Brooklyn, New York. Full Name is R-kal Truluck, first name is Swahili meaning Ruler of the Lake. It’s pronounced ARE- Kal. Many call me “TRU.”

I’m a 12year pro-football veteran; I played in 3 leagues (NFL, CFL, and AFL) for such teams as the Green Bay Packers, Arizona Cardinals, Kansas City Chiefs, Montreal Allouettes, Detroit Fury, and Washington Redskins.

I have hosted the Inside the Trenches Radio Show since 2007 and Inside the Trenches LIVE/TV since 2009. I have been a motivational public speaker for 10+ years and I am the Kids Football Activity Instructor for Lifetime Fitness.

In my collegiate and professional career, I played at SUNY Cortland Division III and went to the NFL, playing pro 1997-2009. I was the first player at Cortland to play Pro Football. In 1998, I was Defensive Player of the Week in my Week 1 debut Saskatchewan Roughriders vs. Toronto Argonauts with the CFL. In 2001 Arena Football I was Rookie of the Year and the first true defensive player to win the award. In 2002 I won the Arena Football’s Lineman of the Year, leading the AFL in sacks10.5. I joined the NFL Kansas City Chiefs in 2002 where I was given the Coaches Award for Best Newcomer of the year. I made another stop back to the CFL 2006 and played in my first Championship (Grey Cup). My last stop before retiring was with the AFL Georgia Force in 2008 and finally from the game of football in 2009.
