Suicide claims more than a million lives each year and leaves more than five million to mourn them. Its victims are drawn by drugs, depression, disease, sexual confusion, bullying, peer pressures, feelings of desperation. The only way to thwart this unforgiving beast is to confront it by raising levels of awareness Talking about teen suicide in youth is a necessity in order to stop it. Steven Zhou hosts our show focusing on these tough issues with award winning essay writer and author, Carl David, whose mission is to save lives. His latest book, "Bader Field; How My Family Survived Suicide" is the emotional story of our family's struggle to survive after his older brother at age 22 took his life. Courtney Tran and Rachel Glass share personal experiences with Radio Junkie and Making a Difference.

Broadcasting since 2011, twenty-seven young people from around the United States have regularly shared their passions and interests as hosts and reporters on Express Yourself! These teens are not afraid of the tough topics and thrill at the opportunity of interviewing a variety of guests including authors, actors, Olympians, scientists, musicians, poets, and experts of varied disciplines.
