Jim Leyritz is a former MLB catcher, infielder, designated hitter and World Series champion with the New York Yankees from 1990 to 1996, and 1999 to 2000. THE KING is best known for hitting numerous postseason, playoff and World Series home runs that either won, tied or changed the momentum of several series. Jim is widely considered one of the greatest clutch players of his era. He is a savvy sports motivational speaker and is experienced in both television and radio broadcasting. He has worked for ESPN and hosted his own radio show on MLB.com from 2004 to 2007. His on air approach is considered forthright, sometimes brutally honest, and somewhat controversial.
