Episode Description

Bone Medicine is a gentle approach to healing that I developed in 1993 using methods of movement, meditation and hands-on-care. The idea is to wake up the body and come into partnership with its inherent intelligence, wisdom, and spirit. When the body is relaxed, we are free flowing and the joints move with ease accompanied by a lightness of being. When we are tense and held or held back, the skeleton becomes constricted, the bones press too closely together; creating stiffness in the joints and heaviness in the body and mind. Our skeleton is filled with body memories that are stored in the form of feelings, thoughts, images, kinetic memory, genetic codes, and ancient wisdom. Through the practice of Bone Medicine a doorway into this greater knowing becomes available which can free our body and mind, and reveal our natural gifts and passion for life. Bone Medicine is a gentle, innovative approach to relaxation and wellbeing.
