A Parental Perspective on Autism Continued
May 22, 2012
Hosted by Rob Haupt
In this episode of Autism Spectrum Radio Dr. Bill Frea will continue his focus on autism from a parental perspective. Parents are truly the unsung heroes of autism, and we look forward to continuing our discussion about some of the best strategies, and resources parents can employ in the care of their children. Additionally we will be talking about the effects that new media like blogs have had in adding a more personal perspective to discussions of autism and other topics that have traditionally only been talked about from a clinical perspective. Dr. Frea is happy to welcome a very special guest to the show this week, Jo Ashline. We will discuss Jo’s role as a blogger and advocate for children with special needs as well as chatting about how being the parent of child with special needs has affected her life. Be sure to catch this episode of Autism Spectrum Radio Tuesday, May 22nd at 11 AM.
