Episode Description

Mix It Up

Wednesday at 2 PM Pacific Time on VoiceAmerica Kids Channel

Mix It Up is a cooking and baking show where your hosts, Jaimee and Ana, will teach you the ingredients of a scrumptious meal, interview chefs, and talk about the pure fun of cooking. Since your hosts are kids themselves, recipes will be challenging but not downright stumping! It’s also important to remember that you should always check with an adult before using a stove or oven. Also remember that although so many processed foods are available at the grocery store, fresh is always the best. Listen to Mix It Up for a mouth-watering show every Wednesday at 2 PM Pacific Time on the Voice America Kids Channel.

Jaimee Andreotti and Ana Jackson

Jaimee Andreotti was born on April 27 and is an only child. She enjoys reading, dancing, and, of course, cooking and baking, but detests cleaning up (Who doesn’t? Sorry—with the good comes the bad.) A baby picture involving a bowl of cake batter and a chocolaty mess of a face reminds Jaimee of the first time she felt the delight of baking, though it was years later before she was trusted to cook a meal. It is Jaimee’s dream to own her own restaurant as the head chef. Voice America Kids has been a wonderful opportunity—many thanks!

Ana Jackson is a seventh grader who is involved in various activities from cooking to playing piano. She has taken a liking to cooking, and was thrilled with the opportunity to partake in a Voice America show with her best friend Jaimee. When it comes to preparing a meal, Ana likes to keep it simple yet scrumptious, a cooking motto she always strives to follow. Her mother is an experienced chef, and she hopes to follow in her footsteps. Ana is very delighted at the thought of this new experience with Voice America Kids.
