Episode Description

The most pressing questions in the social media marketing industry are “How do I use it to meet concrete business objectives?” and “How do I measure ROI on my investment?” Well my guest this week, Maya Grinburg of Wildfire Interactive, will share best practices, strategies and examples on how to achieve a positive ROI on your SMM initiatives. She'll talk about the 3-phase model successful marketers use to win at SMM: 1) GROW—how to turn users into fans; 2) ENGAGE—how to get fans engaged with your brand; 3) MONETIZE—how to convert fans into customers and advocates. She'll tell us how to pick the right kind of campaign to achieve different goals like lead generation, scaling communities, or gaining earned media. What users expect and how to create offers of high value for them—and even higher value for your business. The best strategies for B-to-B versus B-to-C. How to engage followers in different parts of the world. And the core things you need to keep in mind—that most of us forget.
