Innovation for Adults with Autism
August 21, 2012
Hosted by Rob Haupt
This week on Autism Spectrum Radio we turn our focus to adults with autism. Recently it was estimated that the number of children who will be diagnosed with autism during their lives is close to 1 in 88. Among the many questions that this staggering statistic elicits: What happens when these children become adults and are asked to lead independent lives? What services can we provide to help them achieve their full potential? And how are other nations handling this question that transcends national boundaries. This week your host Rob Haupt, is very excited to welcome two special guests to the show, Dr. Ronit Molko, Co-Founder and CEO of Autism Spectrum Therapies and Judy Mark. Judy and Ronit are joining us to discuss their recent trip to Israel and some of the innovative programs they saw while visiting various communities in the region. Be sure to catch this episode of Autism Spectrum Radio, Tuesday, August 21st at 11 AM.
