Get Your Voice On: A Celebration of Women is a ten-year project to empower and inspire women of all ages to raise their voices, create working relationships, and imagine a better future, as well as to identify and seize opportunities to make a difference locally and globally. Get Your Voice On LLC, offers unmatched opportunities for deep brand engagement (the process of forming an attachment (emotional and rational) between a person and a brand) and social media involvement. It invites the participation of leading corporations, women's networks, and media partners in contributing to, enhancing, and encouraging women's lives and dreams. People expect solutions to be expensive to be effective. Our program provides tools to locate resources that can be affordable. The Dr. Melanie Show is designed to educate the world about holistic techniques and the benefit of using them combined with Western methods, as well as to give you hope that your situation can be better. If you are looking for the right resources to connect with you, we can help. Every person can have somebody to connect with for support and guidance; someone that can relate to them. No situation needs to be considered hopeless.

Dr. Melanie will share her gifts and talents, to serve and in serving will teach others to do the same. Topics will include: Ministers and sexual addiction, cancer and anxiety, combining Western and Eastern medicine, energy healing, meditation: an aide to recovery, and holistic nutrition.

Dr. Melanie Barton

Dr. Melanie Barton has been a holistic psychotherapist since 1985. She has a Master's degree in Social Work and a Doctorate in Pastoral Counseling. Dr. Barton is a licensed as an independent social worker, and is a member of the National Association of Social Workers. She is an ordained Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) minister. She teaches meditation and visualization. She is an advocate for people lost in the maze of the social services system and a mentor to people in recovery.

Dr. Barton specializes as a consultant to churches in transition and conflict. She has published poetry, a magazine article “Who gets the Church when Couples Divorce”, on-line articles about eating disorders, closing a therapy practice abruptly due to a medical crisis, and her life story. In 2008 she was named social worker of the year in Huntsville, Alabama. Dr. Barton's technique for healing is to focus on six key areas of life: spiritual, mental, emotional, physical, social, and financial. Her specialty is connecting people to mentor one another to shorten healing time.
