How our children are raised and cared for will have a direct impact on the health of our society in the future. Imagine dedicated fathers working together to support, educate and develop healthy, active fathers and to rebuild family and community values. That is the mission of The Citizen Father Project. William J. Doherty, PhD is Professor of Family Social Science and Director of Citizen Professional Center at the Univ. of Minnesota. The Citizen Father Project is an extension of the Father Project initiated by Dr. Doherty in 1999. Bill is an academic leader in his field, a researcher, family therapist & past president of the National Council of Family Relations. Chris Efessiou is an entrepreneur, business leader, international speaker, mentor, professor, father, and author of the highly acclaimed book “CDO: Chief Daddy Officer.”
In the past 20 years Chris Efessiou has founded, co-founded, developed, and managed multiple successful enterprises—all the while being a committed and present single parent.
