Episode Description

This week on Autism Spectrum Radio we investigate the topic of food sensitivity, or feeding issues, in individuals with autism. One of the most basic functions of a parent is to care for and nourish their child. For some children with autism, the simple act of eating a meal can be difficult. Learning how to address these sensitivities effectively is important as developing a positive relationship with food is critical for effective developmental progress. This week Rob discusses some strategies to achieve that positive relationship. We are excited to welcome Dr. Michele D. Wallace to the show this week to help to share her insights. Dr. Wallace’s work and research includes feeding disorders. Be sure to catch this episode of Autism Spectrum Radio, Tuesday, November 6th at 11 AM.
