So often when a business fails, has a PR disaster or gets into trouble during merger or acquisition it is put down to cultural failure. At worst, you see headlines such as 'the culture was rotten to the core!'. Great businesses build great cultures that deliver and attract great results. Fail to do so today and your failings can soon be plastered all over the internet and media. Not only this, to do business well we also need to understand and be sensitive to the cultures of different countries too. A number of years ago, I became certified to use a great set of cultural diagnostics tools created by the Values Centre. On this show, I am delighted to welcome two guests - Martin Palethorpe who is a leading business cultural consultant and Phil Clothier CEO of the Values Centre to discuss how you can understand and create an exceptional culture in your business.

Chris Cooper helps business leaders to elevate the performance of their business, their people and themselves. With a background in major brands such as Mars Inc he worked in sales, mar-keting, HR, training, procurement and logistics to board level. His first consultancy became a multi-million pound business within 3 years.
Today, Chris helps business people elevate performance through consultancy, coaching, training, professional speaking, writing and broadcasting. His coaching programme ‘The Elevation Programme’ has helped many business owners to profitably grow their businesses since 2008.
As a speaker he talks about lessons from his book ‘The Power To Get Things Done (Whether You Feel Like It Or Not) co written with Dr Steven Levinson (published by Penguin Random House USA in December 2015).
His radio show is accessed in over 50 countries and has aired since 2011, making him a highly experienced on-line radio host. Having undertaken hundreds of interviews with international ex-perts and thought leaders he has been described as one of the most credible business experts in the UK. Chris lives in Leicestershire, England with his wife Ruth and two young boys. Hobbies include taking his soccer mad eldest son to watch Leicester City FC, playing rock guitar, keeping fit, fly fishing and transforming his Victorian home and garden into a beautiful space.
