Looking back, what she has found to be most liberating about the experience was the realization that while submerged in the actual event, she had jumped right in with both feet and never questioned the power within. On the other hand, once her mind had a chance to digest what had happened, her inner light was replaced with self-doubt, questions and disbelief. Why do we as a society so often dismiss the unknown? Why do we lack confidence in our abilities? Why are we afraid to stand in our truth? Lauren has spent much of her life learning to be confident in herself and her God given potential.
