Episode Description

Increasingly, organizational volunteers want to get involved and get to engage their talents, skills and knowledge to “give back” to their communities. Mostly, they want to make a difference and are no longer willing to do back office, supportive kinds of activities. Volunteers want to work alongside professionals and be part of a team! Organizations are challenged to keep volunteers engaged and even professionals, with full time careers wish to offer pro-bono services to feel they are helping. Guests include, Mitchell Kitroser, Esq. from Lawyers for Special Needs of Families and Neil Newstein, CEO of Alpert Jewish Family & Children’s Service.
